The Female Design Council is proud to partner with the Textile Society of America to promote their Fall 2026 Colloquium, "(re)Generation: Fibers of Resilience & Renewal.” The half-day virtual event will bring together artists, scholars, filmmakers, and cultural practitioners to explore regenerative justice through the lens of textiles, fiber art, and material culture. The colloquium features a keynote conversation between multidisciplinary artist and founder of the Black Artists + Designers Guild Malene Djenaba Barnett and TSA Board President Dr. Sharbreon Plummer, a scholar and author of the forthcoming book "Stories in the Seams: A People's History of Black Quilts and Their Makers."
