Graphics + Marketing Coordinator 

The Female Design Council seeks a Graphics & Marketing Coordinator to support our incredible membership network for womxn in design. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing and a can-do attitude. This key addition to our team must be an organized multitasker who is able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines. The Marketing & Graphic Design Coordinator works to conceptualize, design, and implement creative graphics and content. This role will coordinate the development of and implement our marketing strategies, particularly across digital channels.

Responsibilities:

-Content Creation: Generate engaging and relevant content for our social media, website and external communication tools (decks, partnership content, and more)

-Graphic Design: Create visually appealing graphics for various marketing materials, including brochures, posters, email campaigns, and social media posts.

-Marketing Campaigns: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns

-Maintain inventory of assets - materials, graphics, campaigns etc ensuring all are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials when necessary. Implement a storage & retrieval system for labeling and sorting.

- Create Instagram campaigns [based on existing templates] -- graphics, reels, etc. 

- Draft and schedule Instagram posts

- Creates decks [based on existing templates]

- Writes and works with existing design template in Mailchimp 

- Updates & ensure website is up-to-date, and aligned with our marketing goals (built in squarespace)

Needed skills & experience:

-Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat), Canva, Email Marketing Platforms (MailChimp), and social media scheduling platforms

-Proven experience (3+ years) in web design, graphic design, and social media management.

-some copywriting experience

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

-Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite)

-Basic photography and video editing skills are a plus.

JOB DETAILS:

-This job is freelance / PT approx 10-15 hours per week.

-The pay is commensurate with experience but is in the range of $25-35 per hour

-The job is mostly remote, but will require some hours in person in manhattan at FDC HQ (downtown manhattan)
