Support the FDC
Since its founding in 2018, the FDC has created and launched several philanthropic initiatives in support of our mission to diversify the design industry.
CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP
The Female Design Council offers Corporate Memberships designed for companies to empower their female-identifying, non-binary, and trans-femme employees by joining a thriving network of design professionals. Companies working within the architecture and design industry, including interior design studios, architecture and construction firms, manufacturers, makers, retailers, and distributors, are eligible for corporate membership. We also welcome partnerships with galleries, communications firms, art & design fairs, as well as the real estate and development sectors.
WHAT YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS WILL SUPPORT
In addition to our biennial Grant Program, the FDC annually donates 25 individual memberships to women of color in design as Gratis Memberships.
The FDC also operates a free and open to all Mentor Match program, where design students, aspiring designers, and career pivoters can access invaluable mentorship from leaders in the design world. Mentor Match has served over 250 mentees, and mentors have donated hundreds of hours.
FDC Membership dues only cover part of the cost of running the FDC, and we rely on the generosity of the design world to support these ongoing philanthropic programs.
